The Snow Is Dancing

Blowing sideways into my windows, blanketing Central Park, slowing the subways, silencing the traffic. The first real snow of the winter. It always makes me think of "La neige danse," from Debussy's Children's Corner Suite, which I can play, though not nearly as quickly or delicately as the music and its imagery call for.
